Solana, a leading blockchain platform, is expanding its Web3 integration into luxury hardware. Over the weekend, it teamed up with Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller to unveil a limited-edition Web3-enabled timepiece, priced at CHF 20,000 (approx. $24,378). This marks Solana’s second venture into blockchain-powered hardware, following the release of its Web3 smartphone, Saga, in 2022.
The first look at the Solana x Franck Muller analogue watch reveals a sleek tonneau-shaped stainless steel dial, shimmering in electric blue, green, and purple. At its center sits the Solana logo alongside a unique QR code.
According to the announcement, the embedded QR code directly connects each watch to the owner’s personal Solana wallet, enabling seamless crypto transactions.
The Geneva-based watchmaker announced that each timepiece is uniquely numbered, with the owner’s wallet address securely and privately embedded. The watch functions as a personal wallet, digital key, and data hub—granting complete control to its wearer.
Limited to just 1,111 units, the Web3-enabled watch is being promoted as a prized collector’s item.

The watchmaker revealed that owners of the limited-edition timepiece will gain access to exclusive on-chain experiences, though specific details were not disclosed.
Solana stands as the world’s second-largest blockchain, boasting a Total Value Locked (TVL) of $9.47 billion.
In June 2022, Solana Labs CEO Anatoly Yakovenko introduced the ‘Solana Mobile Stack’ (SMS), a software development framework designed for Web3 developers.
