LinkedIn is introducing an AI-powered job search tool to simplify finding ideal roles. Initially launched in the US, the Sunnyvale-based platform is now expanding global access, including in India. The tool enables professionals to enter job preferences as natural language queries, delivering relevant results. However, this AI feature is exclusive to LinkedIn Premium subscribers.

The New AI-Powered Job Search Tool to Simplify Job Hunting

According to a company survey, 60 percent of professionals in Bengaluru struggle to identify suitable job titles and industries, even when actively seeking opportunities. The survey also revealed that finding a role aligned with one’s skills and ambitions is a key marker of career growth.

To address this challenge, LinkedIn developed an AI-driven search feature that allows users to enter job preferences in plain language. For example, a software engineer could type, “hybrid or remote full-stack developer jobs in Bengaluru,” and the AI will generate relevant listings.

Unlike traditional keyword-based searches, this AI tool offers a more intuitive experience, reducing irrelevant results and eliminating manual filtering. LinkedIn emphasizes that its AI-powered job search enhances job discovery, empowering professionals to make confident career moves.

At present, LinkedIn’s AI-powered job search tool is exclusive to Premium subscribers which includes perks like AI-driven interview preparation, career planning support, and additional benefits.
